Nashik, 10 January 2024

Preparations are in full swing for the 27th National Youth Festival in Nashik, with schools and colleges actively involved in organizing various activities. The Maharashtra Government and local administration are gearing up for an array of events, including an NCC cadet parade, folk dance performances, sports, and more across the district. Students from schools and colleges are eagerly participating in these programs.

After a gap of 16 years, the responsibility of hosting the National Youth Festival has been entrusted to the state of Maharashtra, generating excitement among the state government and local administration. In commemoration of Swami Vivekananda’s 161st birth anniversary, a five-day festival is being organized, showcasing Maharashtra’s culture. Volunteers, in collaboration with participants from all over the country, are actively preparing for this event from January 12 to 16. The festival aims to provide a cultural glimpse of Maharashtra, enriched by the diverse contributions of thousands of artists and competitors representing various regions of India, turning Nashik into a vibrant reflection of the nation’s colorful culture.
